With the Air Gap Strategy, all backup images are stored in a vault disonnected from the Network. This makes it robust against viral incursions as it scans and removes any bit-level anomalies in the data stream. The Hardened Air Gap strategy is designed with the utmost security measures. Creating an additional layer of security by requiring multiple layers of authentication before the air gap is briefly opened for the transition of data. Moreover, the implementation of Ready State in the Shadow Vault provides some benefits over the Running State.
