CompuCycle ITAD & Data Center Decommissioning for Acronis MSPs

ITAD is the last step in a complete cybersecurity plan — and the one most often overlooked. CompuCycle is a Houston-based ITAD provider built on one principle: own the process, don't outsource it. All refurbishment, data destruction, and material recovery happens in-house at their 130,000 sq ft facility — no third-party processors, no chain-of-custody gaps. That single-site model means every asset is tracked from intake to final disposition, backed by ISO 27001, e-Stewards, NAID AAA, and R2 certifications. For Acronis partners managing client environments where data protection is non-negotiable, CompuCycle closes the loop on the hardware side — giving you the same chain-of-custody confidence at end-of-life that Acronis delivers while assets are in production. Verifiable compliance, audit-proof reporting, and a domestic partner who never hands your clients' drives to a downstream vendor.

Features

ITAD — IT Asset Disposition

We manage the full lifecycle of your clients' retired IT assets — collection, tracking, destruction or recovery — entirely in-house at our 130,000 sq ft Houston facility. Every asset is tagged at pickup, tracked in real time through our secure client portal, and documented with audit-ready reports and certificates at close. No third-party processors. No chain-of-custody gaps. Just a verifiable process you can stand behind.

Data Center Decommissioning

From planning to final disposition, we handle floor-to-ceiling data center decommissioning nationwide. Our team manages network and physical discovery, hardware inventory, disconnection, rack removal, and secure transport — with on-site hard drive destruction available before anything leaves the building. Every project closes with a complete documentation package your clients can take straight to an audit.

Hard Drive Destruction & Data Sanitization

Every drive we process is serialized, tracked, and handled entirely on our floor — not sent downstream. We perform physical destruction to e-Stewards standards and sanitization to DoD 5220.22-M and NIST 800-88 guidelines, with a Hard Drive Audit Report and Certificate of Destruction or Sanitization issued for every job.

IT Asset Value Recovery

Not every retired asset belongs in a shredder. We assess all incoming hardware for refurbishment and remarketing potential, giving your clients a way to recover value from EOL equipment without compromising the integrity of the disposition process. Certified sanitization. Documented chain of custody. Revenue back to your client.
